David once said, “we are all, and have always been, projects of mutual creation.” Being part of the David Graeber Institute means means giving your time and energy because you believe these ideas matter. We’re here to build alternatives, support one another, create space for care, imagination, and solidarity — and to explore better ways of being together.
On our website, you’ll find a list of current functions and projects — but we also welcome new ideas. If you want to offer something that aligns with our goals, we’d love to hear from you.
Here are some of the areas where volunteers can get involved:

DESIGN AND LAYOUT
Help us craft compelling visuals and engaging layouts for our publications and online presence.

TEXT EDITING
Support our editorial team by working with texts across multiple formats and languages.

IMAGE EDITING
Assist with visual curation, image research, and photo editing for our projects.

TRANSLATION
Join our multilingual translation team to make DGI’s work accessible to wider audiences.

WIKIPEDIA
Contribute to updating and expanding Wikipedia entries connected to DGI’s fields of interest.

SUPPORTING DAVID GRAEBER’S ARCHIVE
You can help us:
– find new materials about David Graeber
in different media and languages.
– work on the David Graeber Archive website
to make it more organized, lively, and user friendly.

Got an idea that’s not listed here? Maybe you want to start a podcast or organize a reading group? Amazing — tell us more! We’re always excited to welcome new collaborators!
Even if you’re still unsure which area(s) you’d like to help with — or you simply want to help but aren’t sure how — we’d love to hear from you.
Drop us an email at info(at)davidgraeber.org with a short introduction and let us know which area(s) you’d like to help with.
